    Made a trip to Tennessee back before Thanksgiving. Looking to be the last ride of the year. My buddy down there was able to convince 2 of his coworkers to tag along one day. They're both kinda new to riding but it was a good time. Hopefully we'll get a few more next year.

    Here's a video of those 3 playing around before heading back to the vehicles. It's a fun trail just off the paved trail.

    This was a different day. In the second picture you can see the truck if you know what you're looking at. It's a black dot at the end of the powerline cut out, where the sun is shining.

    On the list for next year. My bike is in the upper left. Rode down from the top to check it out.

    The current state of mine. She's gettin a little love in preparation of next season. For those that are curious, she's got 163 hours and almost 2600 miles.

    Always fun to see bikes in the house. A buddy stored his GSXR in his kitchen for the winter. I thought I had pics but can’t find them.

    Any of you riders have one of those BMW GS 1200's? They look easy to maintain with the boxer (valve adjustments). I'm buying a bike and can't decide between a used Harley or one of these adventure bikes. My favorite bike I've ever owned was a dr650se that I bought new in 2002.

    Try pickin that loaded MFKR up in the bush, creek xing, god forbid (public gas station) .............
    DR650=adventure bike/certainly

    Had to comment. After several Xcountry trips I feel that I have the right to:smoke:

    The 1200 is a beauty for cruising ....... The slab.
    Unless you have a support vehicle with extra monkeys to help you dislodge the beast when needed.

    No offense sir but.... My life experience. Carry on!!! Enjoy.

    Not offense taken. I have laid it down in the bay at the dealer. They let me with those work mat thingys they use. It is heavy, but easier to pick up than a snowmobile. It'll be for mostly highway. Price is good and I'm probably getting a buell super cruiser next year, unless Harley brings back the FXR. Who knows? I quit riding and sold my bikes in 2005. Now everything is computer stuff. My ignorance on this generations bike preferences is off the charts. Thanks for the response.
