38/71 sycamore and ash, haven't been having the wife load midday. Ash, oak and sugar on deck for overnight. 23 tonight, 28 tomorrow

 

Pile getting a bit thin, burning cherry even though it's only about -15C tonight. Snow incoming.

 

Blueberry scones! My wife just sat, bolt upright in bed

Until the neighbor lady made some and brought them over for us! Man, were they ever good!!!

Winds finally died down some.

 

Just starting a new fire. 35/68 oak.

 

36 and 72. Tomorrow sounds like a fun day, afternoon calling for snow, sleet and freezing rain. Plan is to replenish wood shed and work on my garage. I think I'll slow cook some venison stew as well.

 

13° this morning when I left for work. Norway maple and ash in the stove. 70° inside
