People in the north don't understand why southern folks live in the terrible heat, especially if there is also high humidity. People in the south don't understand why anyone would choose to live in the north. I do not expect this to change soon.
I hope to change this for myself and my wife when I retire. I’m hoping to spend 3-4 months in the South Jan-Feb-Mar-Apr. I like the rest of the year up here. Somewhere around 3 years, 29 days, 5 hours, 25 minutes, and 30 seconds away.
Mine has wheels. My neighbor has a newer tracked bobcat and it tears everything up. He used to come over and do stuff for me before I got mine, and it seemed like I worked just as hard fixing the damage from the tracks as I would have worked if I just did the entire job by hand. Now there is hardly any ground disturbance and what little there is can easily be fixed. I drive it all over the yard and you can barely tell.
I think they call those folks snow birds in Arizona. I’m sure 77, 74, 52, 85 and 95 will be full of migrating yankee SUV’s for the next couple months.
50 out today. Mud everywhere. There's about 1" of grease on top of frozen ground...water has nowhere to go.
53 currently and my Vapor-Fire 100 has been out for a few days. Had an odd back puff earlier in the week. Not much fun when the smoke circulates through the duct work during the middle of the night. Took this warmup to give the furnace and chimney a mid season cleaning. Wasn’t in bad shape but the worth doing for peace of mind. Hoping the back puff was wind and barometric pressure related. Temps will drop tomorrow and I will light the system off again.
I plowed a walkway at a lake in Arizona today. I sure wish this global warming thing would work in my favor....
