Had an hour before dark, got some Mulberry split and stacked! I don't get much of it, so it's a treat to work with. Beautiful when split too. Next to it will be honey locust, white oak is in the back row. Going to fill up the middle space with cedar I think. 20250126_165934.jpg

Pretty stacks. Mulberry is definitely in the top 5 of favorites. Just have to watch the sparks when opening the door. Looking like a nice few days so maybe I will take the time to do some evening splitting myself.

    Nice stacks. Neatly sorted!

Mulberry is a favorite for me as well. It is nice to process. Don't get it often and jump at the opportunity to do so.

I like mulberry all around. I thought it was pretty rare around here, but now that I know what it is, it’s available in smaller quantities if’n I keep my eyes open for it.

very tidy and pretty stacks by the way.

Thanks, I try to keep everything orderly because I'm pretty close to the neighbors. The back of my lot where I do firewood is the side of my neighbors lot so I figure if it's tidy there's no reason to complain. I make the racks out of scrap lumber, they are a quarter face each.
