MikeInMa Not exactly ice skating with strollers and gumboots but it was a fun day.

It appears we won't be in any deep freeze soon and that is good. The big lakes have grown some ice but if they don't get much more we will be ok. But the times the lakes have completely frozen or at least 90%, then the cold really gets to us. Open water is a blessing to us.

    Good morning, members.

    Breezy day ahead. 20⁰/38⁰ sunny.

Time to top off the deck rack.

After a couple of errands, I'm unsure of the rest of the day.

But turned over on Saturday... took battery out and charged for a couple of hours... Turned over... So pulled off and put back on charger for a low charge over night... Battery is probably bad, but will get hopefully get oil changed tonight in it... Then will have to work on getting the two leaks fixed on it... Hopefully it wont start nickle and diming me... its only got about 150K on it...

    Good morning.

    29/51 dark/sunny.

No coffee......the challenged dog woke me up at 2am with his barking at who knows what.....
    :heidi:

Well, it turns out the boy's "food poisoning" was actually a nasty stomach flu..... good news is it passes through in under 24 hours.... bad news is I'm just getting started on my turn.

Probably not much useful going to happen around here today......

    Have a blessed day everybody!

I was surprised I had to jump start the tractor yesterday. Hooked it up and hit the started and it took off immediately. Neighbor wanted to borrow it as he had got a load of stone mix and needed to get it leveled. I might start tractor again today to run it for a while to make sure battery will charge and just to run it for a while as we are about mid-winter now.

Morning all. Another gorgeous day ahead of us. Starts off with an overcast sky and then clears off by noon to sunshine. Below freezing this morning so it maybe clearer out there than I think. Still pretty dark outside.

Off to visit Mom today if I don't get called into work. Between work and the threat of Covid, I haven't been over to see her in quite sometime. Telephones are wonderful inventions.

Sawdust Man glad to hear the boys are doing better but sorry to hear about you getting it now. Something like that always seem to sweep through a family.

Backwoods Savage campinspecter said that the last freighter went through the Sault and now news has it that they managed to free a freighter on Lake Erie. Isn't it rather late in the season to be still shipping on the lakes?

    Everyone have a great day.

Good afternoon, ya'll. Hope ya'll are having a MARVELOUS MONDAY. 49° and rainy. On my regular 7AM-7PM shift for the week, work is going smoothly, so far. Not much happening around the homeplace, got some oak chunks brought in last night.
    Be blessed, be a blessing

Good morning everyone! The weather is going to be a roller coaster ride this morning. Strong winds changing direction and temperature dropping from 31 to 19 by 9am. The barometer is almost as low as I've ever seen it here.

Interesting day ahead. 31⁰/37⁰ flurries about. Gusty winds.

I'm taking mom to get her hearing aids fitted better.

Grocery shopping and then to the dentist, for me.

    Bruins tonight

    Good morning.

    29/60 sunny.

Feeling almost halfway human again today, still probably not going to get much of anything useful accomplished today.

    Have a blessed day everybody!

Morning all. Marine stratus overcast which should burn off this morning. Gorgeous day yesterday. Nice visit with Mom.
Chores and outside work today. Rain expected at the end of the week.

MikeInMa Wow! Canucks won two games in a row.

Sawdust Man I hope today is the last of your illness.

    Everyone have a great day.

The Bruins are a flawed team. On ice talent is insufficient and lacks depth. They play a good game now and then.

    Good morning, members.

23⁰/42⁰ There was some flurries overnight. Barely any accumulation here. Gusty winds today with another chance of a flurry.

I think I'll do a little splitting this morning, I've got about a dozen BL rounds to process.

I'll be having lunch with a friend.
