    Yesterday around 8:30 AM, temps in the single digits. There was another one in the next door yard doing the same. Dumb things. They have destroyed a countless number of my shrubs but I can't help liking them. deer5.jpg

    I went out last night to close up the birds, and I heard the sound of a rat tail slapping a bucket and as I rounded the corner, I could see the feeder swinging back and forth. Dang rats have to go. They are very smart with traps.

    For sure. I’ll take a black racer over a rattler any day all day. That’s why I’m happy to see them in there. Keep the mice population down so the rattlers move to better hunting. Still dislike snakes but the choice is obvious LOL
