    I found an -unoccupied- honey bee nest in a hollow log once. Was cutting a round and all of a sudden I smelled the sweet smell of honey. I was able to salvage a little bit of it.

    baby squirrels in a hollow tree, one was cut in half. I have enough wood that I no longer cut hollows on purpose.
