I have been watching this show over the holiday breaks and on the weekend. I have enjoyed it a lot. We don’t do cable, but so far I have streamed the first 9 episodes with our prime membership. I enjoy the footage of big trees, big saws, equipment, and hard working folks doing what they do. One of my friends that did concrete for a living put it best: “Sometimes at the end of a long day, all I want to do is watch somebody else work as hard as I do.” Has anybody else watched this show?

I've watched the whole season. 9 episodes.

Unlike other logging shows, there's minimal manufactured drama.

Lots of big cedars get dropped. Mix of big saws, Stihl and Husky's.

**EDIT** I watched it on the Discovery Channel.

Did you find it interesting that almost every saw that they gave you a good look at was a Husqvarna with a Stihl lightweight bar on it? They never gave a clear shot of a stihl powerhead, that I remember. I could easily make out the top cover of a 500i a few times in brief passing. At first I thought that Husky was a sponsor, but the Stihl bars were in no way obscured. The guys obviously had both power heads. I saw plenty of Stihls at a distance or from the bottom as they worked a felling cut.

Maybe when they were filming they just used the saws that happened to start that day :)

There were no conversations about one saw vs another.
