27/68 white oak, cherry and bigtooth aspen

 

Calling for mid 30s today and maybe 40 tomorrow. Regardless of temps, its BL and some oak until mud season

 

Low of 12°f last night oak coals burning down.

 

36/55. Got home and burned HHO for 3 degrees and turned it off. I’ll let black locust and oak do the rest.

 

28/74 spruce and mulberry. The other ones sleeping on the couch.

30/73 cherry and ash, 32 for a high tomorrow and then the bottom drops out by night down to single digits. I have a little wood, shouldn't have to burn the kitchen chairs just yet.

 

Snowing and winds are gaining strength. All that's left is for the temps to fall.

Let the stove go out. Had been burning continuously for a couple weeks. Cleaned the cat and scoop. Even cleaned the viewing glass, only buildup was wood ash. Getting the stove back up and running in a piece of cherry and some ash. Feels good to have a clear view of the fire.
