Studded snow tires are permitted here but very few people use them. I put a pair on my wife’s rig a few years ago, I was mocked & received a mountain of crap about it from family & friends. We had 2 - 3 ice storms that winter. She got along great.
Actually studs are encouraged here; they say stud less are better and prove it by driving on frozen lakes.. I will believe that when they prove it on hills and corners.. I live in an area without flat straight roads.. out west they require chains in mountains during storms.. if I lived in south I would have chains for 1 vehicle in garage
Lol, That’s her boyfriends pickup. My hat is either on my head or hanging by the kitchen door. If I can’t find my hat, there is a problem & it usually means that my wife has touched it.
Not NY (except after May) VT NH or ME You would be hard pressed to find snow tires south of Pennsylvania
Sales haven’t slowed down from this very cold winter. Four face cords loaded for tomorrow’s deliveries. Smoker’s and outdoor burners keep me busy year round.
Have new tires on my truck and changed the oil and filter this morning. Bought five years worth of diesel oil this month at Costco for $3.25 a gallon. I pretty much emptied their inventory.
Bucked up about two face cords of red oak this morning with my new 572XP. Wow, it was pure fun. Loading four face cords for delivery, not so much, but paid for the saw and some IPAs.
Perfect splits as usual and looks very seasoned. Delivered four face cords today and cut 1/2 a cord on my way home. Currently cutting on a single lady’s 10 acre property. Have bagged about 22 ricks the past month and have another 60-80 remaining.
