Good evening, ya'll. Hope ya'll have had a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. It was about 24° this morning, maybe got in the low 40's. Waited till late morning to cut a tote of oak, then our customer with the 14" splits called needing a tote before the weekend. We did get about 3/4 cord of hickory bucked into rounds yesterday morning...
We took our 7yr old grandson hunting yesterday afternoon. We didn't even see a squirrel, be he had fun looking

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. 24°/46°, clear and light breeze. Visiting friends later this morning, taking them some donated venison. I may move some hickory rounds over to Blue Samson for processing. I start 7PM-7AM shift a night early, coworker's wife has pneumonia and was taken to hospital Monday evening.
We had a good time celebrating my lab technician friend birthday last night

Evening all. I thought I posted this morning but apparently not.
Grey overcast morning which degenerated into wind and rain. Not much done outside today.
Now that most people have taken down/turned off the outside Christmas lights, it is pretty dreary around here so when I took down the Christmas lights, I kept my small artificial tree up outside with tin icicles hanging off it. It is kind of nice to come home in the dark.

A bit warmer today. 21⁰/37⁰ first time above freezing in at least a week. Still breezy.

I'm glad to have yesterday in the rear view mirror. It was a long 3 weeks. Thanks again for the kind thoughts and words. Mom becomes the focus now. 94. still has her wits about her. Short term memory is challenged.

There's a bit of snow is forecasted for tomorrow. So, I'll top off the deck rack today.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. 34°\37°, winter mix now, rain later. Not much happening, might stack some hickory that was split yesterday. A friend is coming to get a tote of oak. Probably bring in a few buckets of wood. Then nap time...
Brought 11 buckets of wood to the house Sunday afternoon
Most went in boxes by stove...18" splits
Chunkies box
Had a bucket of BL, BB and hedge in laundry room...
We still have most of the hedge left
3 black birch and most of the BL left...
I think the stove did well this week.

Morning all. Dark, grey overcast. We had a storm last night but I hope it clears up today. I am grateful for the rain. Just wish some of it would head south to Cali although our rain would disappear in a mist from their weather conditions.
Chores today. I am making cookies for our children class tomorrow. I am thinking peanut butter cookies. I haven't made those in a long time.
