Kayaking Grayson Lake, Kentucky. The first picture is the entrance to the 'Lost Grotto' and the second picture is going through the entrance and the last picture is the Lost Grotto. It's a beautiful spot.

One of my favorites. Caught this, and about 30 more pictures, in the bushes along the side of the house. Garder snake eating a toad.

I love old black and white TV shows. There several that, from a photographer's perspective, have outstanding filming quality.

A couple of my favorites are Have Gun Will Travel and Perry Mason, for similar reasons. Perry Masons's indoor lighting, contrast and camera positions are great, not to mention the cool mid-century sets in Mason's 'office'.

H.G.W.T. has, in my opinion, wonderful light and contrast in their outdoor shots and great lighting inside. Some of their camera angles are nothing short of perfect.

There are others that have better camera positions to convey or invoke a feeling or concept, but those two are my favorites in overall total picture quality. I've learned much about lighting angles and types to help invoke a certain feeling or convey a message from these old shows.

I've found another great place for lighting ideas is modern dance preferences. My wife and I having attending for 20+ years now and everytime I attend I get a new lighting or photo design idea.

    Just passing thoughts.....

Pretty featured loaded rig. One of the better "bridge cameras." You can do a bunch of stuff with it that us old film guys need a backpack full of accessories to accomplish.

    Nice shooting pilgrim!
