    Currently 10 degrees F here. 72 F in the house. Burning Doug Fir in the Oslo and Big R pellets in the Harman. Snowing lightly outside. We got about 6” of fresh snow last night.

    Likely down to 14 tonight. Had been loading the boiler so heavy, there is a nice bed of coals. Light load of maple to help burn it down . Tomorrow will be single digits overnight.

    Chestnut oak during the day, black locust for overnight. After 8-9 hour burns I still have a heaping bed of coals in the back of the firebox.
