Thanks! We do. Some brook trout hang around in the warmer months. There’s also a good amount of toads/frogs that leave near it as well. We’ve seen some hawks and owls hunting in and around the stream over the years.
More of this white stuff. It’s not every year we get snow. This year already around a foot and a half total.
All the weather stations were calling for 2". We got 8". Very cold so powdery stuff, easy to deal with.
Last night I took the last walk out from the tree stand for the season and I stopped and took a couple pics The empty spaces giving me anxiety.
Well..... it's a short stack. It's black locust. I hope to get it split someday this week. A few pieces will probably need to be shortened.
BL should crack easily in the cold. Doing some splitting myself later. At least its seasonably cold today. Need to get hoarding BL myself.
Well we got our first snow fall of this winter. So here are my "snow on the stacks" pictures. This wood stack has been sitting here since 2018. We hope to move it into the wood shed this spring to make room for some siding renovations on the house. The small stack hasn't been there since 2018. Just a couple of years. About 5 cords in the longer row.
A blue bird day today. After a no snow January and first part of February we got 7 inches yesterday. Part of my 25/26 stash got crowned.
