Thought we got through the wind storm unscathed but found this one in the driveway when I went to town yesterday.

    That ivy is a pita.

What species? A machete works great on ivy.

Had some wind here last night. Got blocked trying to get home from a buddy's by a blown down sycamore. No saws with me so I had to take the long way around. Anxious to explore the woods and see if anything good went down.

Alder for all their status as a hardwood out here, don't last a long time. If anything is going to blow over, it will be an alder.
