I normally don’t bloody mary before noon but we are celebrating Christmas today with our daughter. She has to work the 24th and 25th. (she works in a hospital)

33/70 Oak It never left the 30’s today and no heat was required for supplemental heating.

 

1/75 Burning down some coals. Black Locust, Hard Maple and Shagbark on deck for the overnight

 

It’s 12 outdoors and dropping a few more degrees overnight. I’ve got the air choked way back on a good load of white oak. Plenty warm inside.

 

3 below and burning Hard Maple and Cherry. The house is warm and the beer is cold!

 

Stuffed the Fireview full of ash and hickory tonight. Temp dropping down to 20.

 

20/72 burning down some sycamore then it will be some big splits of cherry and ash.

I think this is the coldest we have had since last January, thankfully no wind this morning.
Took the dogs out quick and dead quiet outside, kind of nice actually.
