Old school coming down around the corner from work, and several multi-unit housing buildings going up in it's place.

I like this house in Glovertown. The garage is 28x28. Has one acceptably more modern looking bathroom, and one rather oddly rustic looking one. Interesting.

Canada has slowed down immigration to some number below 400,000 non-troublemakers for the next couple of years so that housing starts and infrastructure can catch up. Russia is looking fora few good men ...

Feel like crap today, but not bad enough to just take it easy. Ended up getting all the kitchen cabinets lighting upgraded. Took 5x times as long as it normally would but I was moving slow and took a lot of breaks.

The only bare place in the yard since the Thanksgiving snow is on the south side, along part of a path I was able to snow blow during a later snow storm, and in front of where the mini split compressor blows. The tops of some of the landscape rocks are showing in the foreground - those are 6" tall and surrounding a garden.
    Pictures taken yesterday afternoon

Front yard on the northwest side. What looks like could be ground toward the right side is ashes I put down in that path from my pellet stoves yesterday. That section is always in shade so is the slowest area to lose snow. Oh, and those tire tracks thru the yard are from the Thansgiving snow - I parked the Explorer over there because I knew it would be a wet, heavy snow and I figured I be shoveling so I wanted it out of the way (yes, I did end up shoveling)

We've had 3 snow events - only 1 of which I could snow blow and then several rain events. Supposed to get more rain this week, but the ground is cold enough that it won't make a difference. It will just ice up on the crust. Unless something major happens, it will be a white Christmas..

I do not think we will have a white Christmas here this year.

    .........different story here. :handshake:

But, I can live without it!

Snowmobilers and skiers have been "flocking" (did I spell that correctly?) to the area for decades and have begun this year also.
