If it was a better deal I’d transfer to 1 gal jug or quarts.

Did you receive your order yet?
FedEx says mine was damaged in transit and they are returning to Sender. Bummer

Just came in this afternoon. They changed it to the CAM2 brand but gave me the same price. I’m guessing word got around quick and they had a run on their whole stock
Sorry to hear your shipment had issues. Been there plenty of times myself.

Looks like sale ends tomorrow. I might try to order more. Undecided.

Your order is all bought and paid for. I’d assume FedEx has to eat the cost since they damaged it, and you’ll still get whatever quantity you originally ordered…

That's what I'm hoping for. Just don't know how long it will take.

They’re insured. I’d think between the claim and reimbursement to Rural King, then shipping it back out shouldn’t be more than 2-3 weeks at the most. I know when I had issues with UPS they took care of me within 10 days.

Same thing happened to my order. In about a week I received a replacement order. Mine had 4 gallons.

My name is Mike, and I'm a hoarder.

Thanks. I guess I'll just wait on it. 5 gallons will last me a couple years, but I'm a hoarder too.

I transfer to a 1-quart gear oil jug that has the small spout on it. Makes for easy filling of the saw without spilling.
A quart is more than I will ever use in one session of cutting.

12+ gallons on hand so I am good for a while, if I do catch a deal I'm not saying I wouldn't grab a couple more.

That’s my sentiment. 5.99 is cheap! In 10-20 years you’ll be using 5.99 bar oil.

That is smart I never thought about the spout on the gear oil quart

That's what I used to do until I lost the little caps that go on the spouts.

I transfer my bar oil into a laundry detergent bottle with a spout. Id buy a 5 gal container of it was cheaper. The laundry detergent bottle is helpful to not overfill and spill/waste oil. I think I got the idea from The Wood Wolverine.

I've been using one for a couple years. Very convenient, acts like a no spill for oil. If it's too cold, open the fill cap and pour. Lately, I've been mixing in my old hydro oil so this gives me a good place to shake it up and get it mixed.

Cool! This one was bought right around the same time you bought yours. I remember going to the local saw shop with dad and him buying it. It’s a slow cutter tbh. Of course I mostly run ported saws so that kills stock saw experiences. He loaned it to a friend who straight gassed it many years ago. When I got into firewood, dad gave it to me. I believe I put a Golf piston in it back then. This was probably 2010ish. My first foray into working on saws, which led me to arborist site and gtg’s. Found a recoil cover on fleabay with an oe intact ID plate. It rides along once a year or so.

Up to 28 gallons plus 2.5 5qt jugs of used hydro oil to mix in. @5-6.99 a gal, I’ll keep buying here and there. Like y’all said, it isn’t going to get cheaper.
