    30/41 sunny.

Shop work, and maybe other stuff.

Yesterday I actually fired up the mill for a few minutes......my sister needed a cedar 4x4 in her kitchen.

    Have a blessed day folks!

We got maybe a half inch of snow overnight but the temps will be dropping today and the wind will be picking up. Warming up again this weekend.

Morning all. Dark and windy out there this morning.
Yesterday was too windy to put the RV cover on so I put up outside Christmas tree lights instead. That cover may have to wait until Spring to get put on.
Don't laugh but I am off to work today and tomorrow. Nice to see all the students and staff and catch up on all the news.
campinspecter and Shadow will be upholding the home front for us.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning everyone! We are supposed to see the sun today. First time in a while. I'm going to size some chunks and move some wood today.

    Good morning, members.

The rains have moved on. Still a bit breezy. 34⁰/40⁰ reports of around 3inches of rain yesterday. No apparent issues in our locale.

I'm looking forward to a much less stressful day today. I might even get a bit of trigger time in. There's a few pieces of wood needing to be shortened and a few others needing to be noodled.

    All Dr appointments went well.

I'll be subbing for a friend tonight at his pitch league.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Morning all. Dark outside but I don't think it is a windy. Just above freezing as we had a full moon last night.
School went well. Nice to walk in and do the surface work and not have to stress about all the things I know should be done. Got to do a lot of visiting.
Another day of work today and that is it until January.

    Everyone have a great day.

Morning all! 34* last night and rain this morning. My right hand is sore as heck! Got a cortisone shot into the index finger yesterday where I have tendonitis and trigger finger. Comes from gripping all the firewood while processing and stacking it. Whole hand sometimes gets sore but the index finger never gets a chance to recover because of all the mouse clicking on CAD drawing projects. Or so I assume. Doc says I have some arthritis and diabetic neuropathy going on also. All I have on my plate today is a little piddling in the shop and keeping the home fires fed. Hope all are able to stay warm and well fed. Be safe if you are out firewooding!

That trigger finger can get bad. I've had a couple that finally had to have surgery but that was an easy surgery and all has been well since. Good luck.

    Good morning.

40/55 maybe rain by this evening.

    Shop work today.

Picked up a few 4x5 round bales of goat fuel yesterday morning, then later in the day I went and picked up 3,500 lb of hog food.

    Have a blessed day everybody!

Morning all. Dark and raining outside. Inside jobs today. Work was fun for a couple of days. I hadn't forgotten too much or found too much changed.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SUPER SATURDAY. 48°\62° partly cloudy. Another 7PM-7AM night, things running smooth so far.
Maybe we can cut some wood this morning, been too long without saw therapy. Our friend, Fredrick needs some more wood, so the plan is to take the leftover wood from the Christmas light display Sunday night to him.
    Be blessed, be a BLESSING

Morning all. Very grey , rainy and windy out there.

Who likes to receive gifts? We all do – big ones, little ones, it really doesn’t matter. We are overjoyed when someone takes the time to give us a gift in love or friendship. This time of year, we sometimes get so caught up in finding the right gift for someone, stressing over how much it is going to cost, or worrying about whether they will like it.

Take time today to think about the greatest gift ever given to you. God loved you so much that he sent a special person to show how much he loves you and provided you with a way to have everlasting life with him. Jesus came to redeem us from sin and give us the opportunity to live forever with him. I pray that you will accept that precious gift.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16, 17

    Happy Sabbath everyone.

Good day FWHC. Early this morning the site would not load for me, so I am now just getting in from the lake where we had some wind and snow. Ice is now 8” so I was able to get the 4-wheeler and permanent spear house out in a good spot. IMG_4774.jpeg
I ended up taking three pike around 22” for the pickle jar, and let a few bigger ones pass through. I also saw some panfish and two very large bass that came in side by side to check out the decoy.

Good afternoon everyone! I'm glad FHC is back up and running. Single digits forecast for tonight.
