Big Bad Wood

Wouldn't want my face on TV, showing people that I just crushed a parked car with a 1000 lb plus butt log,, because I didn't take the time to make sure my ground crew had things under control... Then another climber narrowly misses a ground man with a pine leader. Tree work is a two way street.. Instead I'd be showing people how smooth and efficient tree work can go and showing some nice rigging methods that keep the work safe, efficient and do no harm to the owners property or the people below. Doing damage gets you zero referrals or repeat business... I guess it's the same reason people like the circus, underneath they're waiting for someone to fall from the trapeze.. they're looking for that excitement!

 

Sad what passes for "reality" nowadays.... No wonder the clueless public thinks that all timber cutters/arborists/tree services are like that.While they sit their lardazzes on the sofa wearing their Ax Men suspenders,t shirt & cap...
