Well, even though the bank lobby was closed Saturday a girl answered my online banking message from the day before. There were people in house, and the guy cancelled both our debit cards for real. Turns out the reason I could not change my online banking password and that action being restricted was because I switched to Brave browser instead of my previous browsers that my bank plays nice with. Doubt WWW has time to go to the bank again today (but I moved all the $$ out  ) but we'll dispute the $4500 that went through when he gets there. BAH, right before mortgage/health insurace premium this month and Christmas coming up :zip:

Started my 7AM-7PM shift for the week. Got to deliver a tote of oak when I get off, only a couple miles from home...
Funny how a cold snap brings back their memory...

You can run and you can hide but too many of us have been conversing here for so long we all know the truth about each other.

That said I'll raise you a frying pan :heidi:

Fortunately it hasn’t been too cold. I believe you will be right when snow removal is necessary and the wind is blowing. But, I have some good, warm clothes. And this one has a nice backhoe!

    More burning.

I fed it for 4 hours, a much better approach than the school bus size piles I used make.
This was the beginning pile below. 20241202_125233.jpg
There were about 6 more piles laid out around this pile that got put on during the burn (yesterday) and stirring it up this morning I burnt the stragglers.
I think I posted some pictures of getting this stuff to the burn area.

You know, I just figured out kiddo can see Christmas gifts I'm buying for her in my Amazon account. She has access, will window shop longer than my patience on my computer, if she needs or wants something she adds it to my cart for my review. Except she can see my purchases too. Sigh.

Maybe she will alert you on items she will not use/want so not all bad. Takes some of the surprise away.

    Great point!

Tbh, all I've bought so far for her are hair scrunchies (likely expected in her stocking) and pretty spray bottle for water (her and husband compete for the generic kitchen one we have now, him to threaten or actually squirt the cat that velcro's himself to him and her to wet her hair lol). But still great point! Big gift is cowboy boots, and that will be a surprise trip with Daddy right before Christmas :)

Prayers for whomever needed a sheriff and ambulance tonight. Not sure if it's a house out here or an auto accident or what.

I'm not sure many people in this area are using their air conditioners. I suppose a furnace is technically an air conditioner. In the world i come from, air conditioners blow cold air and air conditioning in a vehicle blows cold air.

Jury duty summons came in yesterday. All single day stints - 19 days interspersed between January and October of 2025. And I thought I had trouble taking my PTO before - that just about kills any ability since I still have to get my work done AND document the time. And that doesn't count floating holiday time I have to take.

Uggh, 1st world, free nation problems - LOL

I had it twice, and I understand the importance of jury duty, but........I found it to be one of the most boring experiences of my life. The part that really annoyed me was the time spent fiddle farting around by the judge and lawyers for about the first hour or so after we were told to be there.
