Best thing to do is buy a Toyota with remote start. Works great, lol.

    You missed a few.

That said, there's plenty of good kits out there. The compustar brand that Jason posted has great reviews and is what many aftermarket installers use. I've heard of them previously as well. Crutchfield, best buy and others sell that brand as well.

I meant to include you, ol’ friend… but we have had basement rearranging and Christmas tree placement concerns this evening also going on while trying to get her a gift she wouldn’t expect…
    :D

Apologies for the omission, Horkn :handshake:

08 should be “easy” to install. I can get more info tomorrow if you’re interested. You almost always have to flash the device to the car you’re installing in (prior to install).

I just put one in my CRV a couple weeks before being in that accident. So I took it out before it was turned over to the insurance. It’ll go into our new one probably this week. I’ll take some pics to show you.

Some vehicles you can get T harnesses for to make it plug and play, but they’re typically pretty spendy.

Not a problem. Always here to help.

We put our tree up this weekend as well. Just got done with all the decorations on it. Now I need to go outside and cover the boxwoods and put up the lights on the flower boxes that now have dogwood and evergreens in them, and hang the wreath outside.
Some of that is fun, especially when it's not so cold. It's going to warm up later this week. Too freaking cold to bother with the decorations outside this weekend.

Is there such one for a deisel? Like turn the ignition to heat glow plugs before the engine? Or would it even make a difference since I don't have high idle?
