    Folks,

    I was looking at stuff on Facebook Marketplace and somehow this popped up. At first I thought it was a joke but it's not. The guy has an outdoor stone pizza oven in his backyard and he wants someone to pay $1500.00 for it. How exactly would a person pick up and transport this thing? Enjoy.

    I have been slowly gathering materials to build a similar oven when I find them a a good price(as close to free as possible). I’d bet when it’s finished if I payed retail for the materials and added up the time I’ll have I into the project it would cost well over 1500.

    I love doing that. My shed cost me roughly $20. I've been meaning to tally what I used and come up with an MSRP price.

    Well I can tell you one thing with certainty......the flue on that pizza oven is all wrong and it definitely won't work correctly. It should be located in the doorway, not in the dome. The heat will go directly out the roof instead of swirling inside the oven. I'm betting that's why he wants to sell it!

    That being said, don't any of you go buying that without a warrantee.....or at least enough "grass" to keep you from being angry at your mistake in purchasing it!

    I had posted this pic on another web site and a mason said the exact same thing. I messaged the seller to ask if he realized that he posted a pic of weed growing in his back yard. He said that it was not weed, that he is an extremely successful international businessman and that he didn't appreciate me taking up his time with such questions.

    Folks, we are islands in a sea of kooks.........
