Hi all, been off the forums since the weather broke, look forward to another burning season and hearing all your stories. I cleaned my chimney liner the other day and got the least amount of that powdery brown stuff i ever got, not sure why there wasnt much, it was a cold long winter, and I tried plugging intake holes to extend burns, oh well good problem to have I guess. This year im in the process of buying just ok wood mainly ash around 22% moisture just to let my three year stock get one more year of seasoning time. Have a great day all.

Good to see you back on the forum Ed. I think you answered your own quiz about why you didn't have much in the chimney. That long cold winter kept the fires going good all winter.
