Went and did something entirely different with the drone tonight since the neighbor was plowing the field.

Got to see the neurologist today. Only three months AFTER the accident

he confirmed that I suffered a pretty good concussion/ whiplash.

And put me in for an MRI to see how severe. I’ll likely be feeling the effects from this into a year or more after the accident.

That sux. I had a mild concussion (nothing showed on the MRI) that affected me for months. For over a week it made me sick to try to use two monitors - which I pretty much need for work (I took off 2 days and then over the weekend). They told me not to even try to use a computer, read or watch TV for several days. Nor was I to do any physical labor - what the hell is one supposed to do with ones self at that point?

It must be incredibly frustrating to have a sorse case!

I told the neurologist what I had me doing at Physical Therapy at the beginning of. He actually said that trying to split that face cord of wood likely didn’t help and I’d have just been better off walking instead.:tears:

I showed him a couple of my videos and said this is what I’m doing and the pace I’m doing it at. He was okay with that.

TBI aren’t something to really mess with.

    So what’s the status?

I got hired as a municipal engineer technician for a civil engineering firm. I started back around 11/4.

I finished my “on-boarding “ training finally today and I hit the ground running.

first job will be inspecting a railroad project where they are boring a pair 36” sewer and water mains under a railroad line.

next up is drawing the plans up for a city 20-block mill and overlay project.

I finally got the MRI/MRA completed and all I’ve been told so far is, “you have indicators of a stroke in the past. The neurologist wants a face to face meeting with you.” :bug::faint:

that appointment is Wednesday morning before thanksgiving

    that’s about it for now.

Great news about the job. I hope it all goes well with you.

Medical people really want to be very vague about everything but I hope the "face to face" meeting will be informative.

Sounds like you will have a rewarding and frustrating job - congrats!

I would guess that they are talking about a mini-stroke and want to discuss causes and prevention of future events. Although, WTH do I know? I'm not a medical care practitioner but I'm thinking you would know if you had a full blown stroke in the past.
