Overcast breezy 40⁰/52⁰ we received about 1.25 inches of rain yesterday. More to come later today.

My dad does seem like he's getting stronger every day.

In a few hours, we'll be off for a week's vacation. There appears to be a multi-hour break between waves of rain. We're hoping to pay my in-laws a visit. They are interned at the National Cemetery in Bourne MA.

Morning. A cold day ahead, but we mock the cold with our wood burning stoves and boilers! My damper/blower wire connection has once again gotten loose or dirty, so I have to bang on the housing to get it going.

Didn’t want to mess with it in the high winds yesterday, so it is on the agenda. Will hit the tree tops for limbs to fill the daytime burn needs. The wife took yet another day off, so outside I go. I suspect when she retires I will return to the workforce.

Good afternoon, ya'll. Hope ya'll are having a FABULOUS FRIDAY. 36°\55°, clear and light breeze. Beautiful day to cut wood, but I'm cooking dirt, working 7AM-7PM shift this weekend. Had a nice fire going since yesterday morning. Delivered a couple loads of wood and did about 3 hrs tractor mowing for a deer camp. Got to change the hydraulic oil filter and an o-ring that started leaking when we got back.
It's still a good day to have a GREAT day.

Morning all although by the time I got to this post, it is afternoon.
Went for a walk between rain showers and now the sun has shown its face. Pretty windy outside as we have another storm coming in. It isn't supposed to be as bad as the last one.
Chores this morning and grocery shopping this afternoon. I think we need to make a trip to the recycling as well.

Zero issues traveling yesterday. We had a list of spots to visit and got them all done without any weather concerns.

Good morning. Up before the sun. Weather is dreary today as it was yesterday. Filled up the boiler, and saw the guys are at the barn , preparing for a day in the tree stands.

the barn cat met me at the house, acting as though she is starved. We have gone from running away if she saw me at thirty yards, to eating a hot dog if I threw it, to eating everything morning on the patio- and letting me pet her.

now she is okay to come into the kitchen to eat! With the door closed. The wife doesn’t want her in the house much- afraid it will pee on the carpet.

Morning all. Up early to get our walk in before the rain starts again. Our Friday wind storm didn't take any power out thankfully. It turned out to be a normal November storm. Rain for most of today though.

Before the surprised eyes of the disciples, Jesus started to rise into the air. He slowly disappeared into the clouds. Two angels stayed behind and told the disciples “Why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven” Acts 1:11

The disciples then started to tell everyone the Good News that Jesus was alive and was going to come again and take all those who believed in him home to heaven.

What a day that will be when Jesus arrives here in the clouds of angels. Graves will open and those who believed in Jesus will rise again to join all of us who are alive and believe in Jesus. We will be on our way home to heaven.

Jesus is asking for your heart today so you will be ready when he comes again.

16For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus, we shall always be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4: 16, 17
