Never saw this this time of year around here

    I was pacing around having a cold one after some stacking today and saw this guy. I know the tree frogs are around when it gets cooler but never saw a garter snake in November before.

    Could be his last meal for the winter! He was a good size for around here, but I didn't want to uncover him and disturb him so I couldn't get a good picture. He was gone about a half hour later when I checked. Weather looks like it's going to more seasonal around here in the next week.
