    Looks like it’s all cottonwood, but with the amount there that’s still a nice score!

    Found something similar on FBM recently but the wood was 2-3 years old and half hour away. Not really for me.

    Lots of cottonwood and elm, but also some ash and walnut. It'll all burn in 18 months!

    Yeah, it should be ready by fall of 25, ill check with the moisture meter to be sure. I've read that cottonwood dries pretty quick....

    Yup six months even in unideal conditions. Stuff dries FAST!

    Good to know! I'll mix it in with other "harder" hardwoods, I'm sure it'll be worth the effort. Seriously high moisture content when fresh!

    Yes very wet. I remember cutting some in May and six months later it was ready. The stack was in back and didn't get sun. Having access to other primo hardwoods I don't take it that often. The old saying on FHC is it burns better than snowballs.
