That shotgun is my husbands lifelong gun, 1939. He's worn the hooks that springs sit on a couple times and last time the gunsmith said big bucks if he even tried and may not take. So he retired it and found 1959 one that's been working well for him.

XXL , this was the pup I showed you a few years ago that was white.

Eckie , this is the dog that looked like a German Shorthair in that Hilarious picture I posted of her in a couple feet of snow when she was younger. I'm sorry, I laughed to hard I was in tears because she looked so pathetic like a wet rat

Cool, horses are in the backyard, like 5' from our sliding glass door , working on a couple stubborn weeds we've never been able to kill via pulling/weed killer. Oops, WWW scared them opening the door to offer them corn. It was still super cool. WOW, they are really big! and have young one with them.

Also alot of horses from hard winter a couple years ago are still here, branded and shoe'd. I called authority but all the females are still here. Weird these horses and offspring are bigger than when we moved here.

Good stuff, our dog is a magnet for stripey kitties. She just cannot add 1+1= skunked dog.

She also likes crunchy peanut butter toast I dropped on the floor.

You know, most my dogs that had direct hits were older. Not sure if it was vision, or physical ability to avoid, both?

We are so fortunate that Vancouver Island does not have skunks. BUT Shadow almost found out what skunks were while we were in a campsite at Niagara Falls. Fortunately she was on a leash and I saw it in time to haul her in away from it.

Noth I love the contrasting colour of the two dogs. They look big as I am used to a much smaller dog.

Because Lila was able to escape her bedroom, and made her way into the basement (a place full of hidey holes, and no seperate rooms), I ordered a pet/security cam to find where she hides and keep tabs on her. She immediately noticed the cam Sunday afternoon

Her hiding place was where I suspected - thru that tunnel between the boxes and birdhouse. There are several crevices behind and below that area she can fit into. At least the cam allows me to watch her when she activates the motion detector.

I have brought Spot and Rainey's cat boxes upstairs, took Lila's downstairs, and gated off the basement door to keep everyone seperate. This is just for safeties sake (in cse she has something I don't want my two to catch), and to help keep Lila fed. Rainey would be down there eating all her food - I call her the clean up crew for a reason :D
