I don’t know what this is…..

    It’s at my stepson’s new house. The one in the picture is gonna stay for awhile. But there’s another one that I just took out. Leaves and seeds say Boxelder to me but the bark doesn’t. And no signs of the red color inside that is usually present in Boxelder. No smell really. Last week this tree was a very pretty fall red in the leaves.     I’ve never gotten any myself, and only learned about them last year. I had brought in several bags of mulch for my wife’s flower bed and within a few weeks, dozens of maple seedlings with strange leaves I hadn’t seen before popped up. After pulling them up and doing some research, I figured out what they were.

    I’m pretty sure it’s one of the trees that are available from the local NRDs for planting
