the yellow field, we call that over here oil seed rape.the pigeons love it we spend the winter shooting them, they will clear a field of it over here.
We visited Taughannock Falls in Ithaca late August. I took my Sony camera and old Canon FD lenses. These are the best pictures I've ever taken. All shot from the same distance at the upper viewing area but with 3 different focal lengths. 17mm, 85mm and 300mm.
Thanks. When I got home from the trip and put the camera card in my laptop to view them my jaw fell to the floor lol. I was not expecting those at all.
Wow amazing. I really like the first one not sure what there is about it, but to me that looks like a very detailed oil painting.
that one is my favorite too. 17mm really captured everything and I intentionally put that small piece of the stone ledge in the foreground to give it some depth.
I liked the third shot. I could see making a diorama from that picture. I have been watching a miniaturist doing wall diorama that are quite amazing in 3D
TrinitySouth99 I was going to tell you that although we went to Cavendish, we didn't get to the beach. Then I realized your picture was of Cavendish, NL We were in PEI.
TrinitySouth99 the very last picture could have been taken on our coast. We have seen the water look like that many a time.
