Folks, just a friendly reminder that we are a family-oriented site here.....please refrain from posting questionable pics/memes/vids as we have many walks of life of all ages (both guys and gals) here in our firewood family. Let's make it easy on our VOLUNTEER moderators and staff at keeping the masses happy.

I don't wanna see anyone losing priveledges over something trivial. Plenty of other places on the 'net to post that stuff if so desired. Or you can send it in a private convo.

I should put one of those up be my driveway for "speed racer" in the mornings/afternoons but I don't think he would see it. You tend to lose peripheral vision at high speeds!

I have been driving cars for over 50 years, and I can honestly say, that I have never, ever experienced a blown fuse. Even though, some of the cars I have owned were POS with questionable electrics, when they inadvertently failed the first thing I always checked was the fuses and it never was the cause of failure. If the wiper motor or lights or heater failed, it never was the fuse and I had to spend hours (or longer) to finally trace it down which always cost a small fortune. I would have been ecstatic if it ever had turned out to be a faulty fuse...- sigh...

When I was young, I traded a 62 impala coupe for a 70 nova SS. It was a little hot rod. I was heading home one day and when I pulled in the driveway I saw smoke out from under the hood then under the dash. I jumped out, opened the hood and pulled the battery cable off. I looked under the dash and EVERY fuse had tin foil wrapped around them. The fuse box was melted, lots of wires burned. I got a complete wiring harness out of a wrecked 72 nova and rewired the whole car. That was a job.

My 81' Blazer ate one fuse all the time, I carried them in my glovebox. If I was charging my phone in the cigarette lighter, had the A/C running and either honked or turned on the radio it would pop. Neither of us drive it full time anymore and have not fixed the A/C since moving here. Funny. The door latch and ignition are tricky too lol. ammoaddict I spent A LOT of time with my aunt as a kid, she had an early 70's Nova, gold. I'll never forget that car :)

It seems back in the 50's it was more common to be changing fuses.
