There are things I'd change in there for sure.

Don't beat yourself up on that time. My pr for a half was thirty years ago. Today I'd be happy just to finish one.
    Good job!

Thank you. I have always told my son I do it for fun. Don’t really care about my time, as much about just doing it and enjoying the weekend with family. The training also helps keep me in decent shape. I think I’ve done 8 or 9 half marathons now. My son has done 2 with me now.

Warner, please accept my apology. Someone was rude/insulting and I made a terrible mistake thinking it was you. It was not you and I'm sorry posting "knock off the cheap shots" It belonged to someone else and I just realized it.

Please, not again. We had the telescope out tonight watching the comet and looking at the full moon. I took a tumble bringing it in, head elbows knees ok, I hurt my foot on the way down to floor, it bent in unnatural ways. Praying nothings fractured or broke! Years ago on other foot I felt and heard that bone break but this time the clatter from the telescope and falling I don't know. Cross your fingers for me when the damage will be more evident.:doh::doh:

Fingers crossed that it is just a bruise or strain and nothing more serious!

Day 2 of setting up our new Mass Timber mock up project. Pretty neat how it all goes together. More pictures to follow. IMG_20241014_132842116.jpg

Sometimes a sprain can be worse than a break

Atlas Comet, SW skies for a couple nights

I think it's a sprain/strain, not as swollen and bruised as last time. Still painful, but I can atleast gimp to kitchen and bathroom.

Thanks BB, I'm using the Blazer right now, no can do on stiff clutch, she'll have to walk or see if WWW is at work to take bus there.

you need to stay off it for a while if you want it to get better soon. There are braces, air splints, and boots designed to off load the weight. Also Ice it for the first few days, then go to heat.
