Loaded truck pics.

Mostly red maple and cherry with some beech and red oak buried.

 

Brought a small mixed hardwoods load home from a guy who cuts on his property to clean it up. Let's me take as much as I want for $35 and helps me load. I think this is load #7 for the year.

Nice load, but for $35 I would've gotten a lot more in there, plus there's room in the cab.

Years back when I roofed full time I had a similar tool box and rigged it so I could take it out to load firewood. Kind of a PITA but it gave me the extra room. Now the PU has partial extra cab which I love.

I love my Ford but a half cord is the limit for me. I could barely see out the back window as it was. I like the idea of the removable tool box!

Two plus years dried half cord load of hickory. Mostly pignut with some shagbark mixed in. Going out for delivery tomorrow.

 

Delivered this morning and stacked.

My neighbor allowed me to take the dead Doug fir that was leaning over his camper today. I rigged it with a block in the tree and a block on the tail hold. My wife just let the pickup roll forward to get the tree moving in the right direction. It felt good to cut a little wood on a beautiful day.
