Wow, yesterday I printed a business credit card statement to assign project #, knew it was ~$16K of transactions. I went over it like 10 times, only finding $13K. I noted missing $3K. This morning the pdf is still up on my computer, found it! The second page was cut off printing, it was one of the transactions that was cut off. That's not cool. The other pages printed fine, why was this one longer than 8.5x11? Glad more wasn't at stake.

Nice! I do that on my 4 wheeler solenoid cause the push button on the bars quit working a few years ago.

Might need to dig into that project soon. Plus tubes in the always going flat tires.....

Done that many times, including on the starter I ended up changing in a bar parking lot.

Back in the early 90's while bird hunting, the solenoid took a dump. I used a lock blade knife to jump it instead of walking the 8 miles or so.....

I was able to spend a couple hours cleaning things up under the porch and moving some firewood around that was left over from last year. Then brought in a half a face cord of this year’s Ash. Time to start on getting this season’s supply under the porch.

Lit the boiler for some DHW this morning. I'll probably start doing that every other day until I need heat.

Starting figuring out the next project...small patio off the back of the house. Got the laser transit out and I have 0" of fall 12' off the house (the patio needs 3" of slope). I'm going to have to move a lot of dirt. 3pt tiller and tractor FEL will make it an easy job.

It does? I'm no patio expert, but generally 1% fall is considered enough to keep things "high n dry"...that would be 1.44" over 12'

I go a little more slope on stamped/textured concrete...so I always figure 2% (2.88). I may just say heck with it and broom it if it doesn't work out right.

Cindy and I got our flu and covid immunizations Saturday. Sunday we were both ill with side effects. My injection site from the covid injection is still tender. I got sick the last time I got the shot so I anticipated nothing different. So far, neither of us have had any known events of covid, but I also must admit that we are careful to avoid crowds.

Watching the birds feasting on Dogwood berries. I don’t recognize the birds, so I’m guessing they are passing through on their way South. It makes me wonder if they know the spot, or they recognize Dogwoods while flying by. Their heads pop up through the leaves while plucking berries. Interesting to watch the feast happen. They make all kinds of chirpy racket, so I imagine it’s like hitting a free fried catfish buffet. I see the occasional V of Canadian geese pass over. Yup, it won’t be long now.

Leaves have really changed color these past couple of days!

Spent yesterday trying to locate a new car for 99. Came close to a new rav4 but she didn't like the numbers. And the dealer didn't like the numbers we gave them.
