Been out a few times this year, its bow season. My brother in law stopped by today and I loaded up with about 200lbs of corn. Thankfully here in MD we can bait deer! Hoping this is the year I finally get one with my bow. I just dont put in enough stand time. Always seem to get sleepy in my stand plus it doesnt help its not far from the house and my warm bed and wife!!! Hope everyone else is having a good start to the season.

My problem is my phone! I just need to put it away and enjoy what I'm doing instead of answering email and text messages. When did the season open? Opens October 1st in illinois! Counting down the days!! my pic is of my very first bow kill. Not a trophy to anyone else but it is to me. I've shot bigger with my bow but he was the most important to me because not only was he my first bow kill he was my first deer. good luck and we'll be awaiting a picture!!

Our season started september 5th or something. Thats exactly how it will be for me, never shot a deer period and feel as I want a bigger challenge and use a bow for the first few.

Awesome cape, and good luck. I really dont gun hunt much anymore as I enjoy bow hunting so much. It so so much more fun and rewarding to hunt with a bow.

Dear Husband always took several days off in Sept for Archery in Colorado. Something about rutting etc.

Bow here opened recently but I haven't gotten out yet. I'm hoping to later this week but I gotta check the sights on the crossbow first.

    Good luck everyone
