How old were you when you it? Kinda wish I had the Homelite top handle I started out with.

Early to mid teens , I know I did not have my license and I got that as soon as I turned 16 so it was before that.

1979 would put me right at early teens so pretty darn close.
Exactly like that with the exception of the plastic hand guard. Mine never had one.
It did come with two bars. 12 and 16. Can’t believe I can still remember that. LOL

Had to take this after working all day.

had the G660 running awesome yesterday. Today, wouldn’t start…. WTH…

I needed to use the 28” bar so it got put on the 362. It’s pushing the limit.

Hope it's an easy fix. My 660 kit saw is hard to start but it's a beast after it does.

    Just temperamental.

yesterday I tried to start it after trying for a couple weeks.

    fired off on third pull.

fourth pull it was running in its flooded glory cleaning itself out. Smoking for skeeters for about 2 minutes.

    ran great all day.

    this morning,

third pull it fired like usual.

    And nothing after that.

Flooded I'm sure...it's hard to do on a 660, but hold the throttle open and give 'er a few pulls, probably easier with a second person to help, even if you still have the decomp on it and use it (I usually do, tired of breaking starter rope!)

When you have to get the Blue Ridge Parkway cleared you use the best.

I believe it's this. I need to pull the carb off now and clean this screen. I have an MS180C if I let it sit for more than 3 months I have to do this with it.

These were on sale locally. I have a MS180 and 400, so I don't need either, but not too shabby of a price.

With the paint scheme on that tractor, you could slap a couple STIHL decals on it and no one would be the wiser
