Does such a thing exist? I've thought of doing a FHC abbreviation dictionary.

I think it was being worked on by whoever had the corporate jet signed out.

My favorite wood supplier came through again.... my SIL!!

They had a few big RO's and a Black Birch taken down. Last week was trim up the trunks and pile them up. This week was grab some.

Truckaa helped move ~1/2 cord, I'm guessing.

Alot of goldilocks wood. Funny how there's an empty wood rack right there, in the 2nd picture. The uprights need some reinforcing.

There's room for 2 more racks to the right of the one you can see. I'll need some new rack components and deal with a nest of ground hornets/bees.

I assembled my redneck saw buck, readied the wood for cutting Monday morning. I have other plans for today.

    IMG_20240908_092059.jpg

The thicker pieces get put on some runners.
    IMG_20240908_092110.jpg

    All marked with sidewalk chalk.

After being interrupted yesterday, I moved what wood I had cut earlier in the morning.
    IMG_20240910_072940.jpg

I broke out the yard cart as it holds more than the 2 wheeler.

Working my way through the pile. I've been told there's more at my SIL's. Thicker logs. I hope to get there tomorrow to see what's there and to possibly buck into rounds.

Missed all the updates Mike. Good wood in the limbs. Will you burn that as SS wood or just mix with regular sized splits. The rare instance I have skinny limb wood I'll mix it in a stack.

I can remember my late uncle having a separate stack of skinnies that he burned in his garage wood stove.
    Fond memories.

Nice day so I went to my SIL's to buck up a pile of logs that has my name on it. Kind of pre-my-woodyard.

My timber jack was deployed. Worked well.

    IMG_20240911_080340.jpg

After a tank of gas in my 350, I was done cutting and piling logs.
    IMG_20240911_092219.jpg

What's left to buck another day.
    IMG_20240911_092225.jpg

Mostly red oak. There's some thick black birch in there. I'll try to stack them separately.

    Thanks!

There's another one on the other side of the driveway that's shorter.

The plan is to move some more oak, Saturday morning.

I needed to make room, so the saw buck was dismantled. The pile of branches has shrunk some.
    IMG_20240913_083805.jpg

I've got almost a face cord stacked. Another yard cart load should top it off.

Got another 2 PU loads this morning.
    IMG_20240914_100658.jpg

Interesting in the picture above. The black birch turns that orange/brown color after being cut for a few days. The lighter colored rounds are red oak.

Got a few more branch logs as well as the rounds.
    IMG_20240914_100739.jpg

There's one more PU load left to buck to size.

Way to get it done Mike! Did Truckaa give you a hand?

Cools the way the ends can be different colors. Mebbe a little FHC rounds collage there?
