Spent quite a few hours polishing and shaping the blade part last night. Today will be this knifes first day as an edc
I downsized my EDC with this little Buck. Small as it may be, it gets used almost daily. I had my last EDC for about 12 years before it really started falling apart, and plan to do the same with this one.
here is one I carry often. This Karambit was forged by Bladesmith Jesse lambert of JD Knives. This is a San Mai blade with 1500 layer damascus cladding (15n20 & 1095) with a Nitro V core. The handle is made from Mokume Gane. Mokume Gane is an ancient japanes type damascus this one is with copper and brass.
It is, but because of the shape of the blade narrows its use some. I still find it pretty handy, from stripping wires to hot dog sticks, use it quite a bit.
Here's my latest EDC that I've been using for over a year. Started life as a Buck 113 that I just never liked the shape of so i made it mine.
Thank you, it's much more handier for what I use it for shaped like that. The original is extremely pointy.
