I put my cutting stuff in the truck,, a trailer load today,, awaiting the knife,,,not shown if my buddys full truck as well. used my 266 and CFB 461

 

I was out splitting wood getting ready to move it up to the woodshed.
This is the only picture that I took... I get distracted easily... LOL



Beautiful evening to be out splitting. Sun was starting to set and getting the red started.

 

We were making more rabbit hutches tonight. Lots of wire cutting, bending, and tying. We ran the mill and made some doug fir legs for the hutches. Still have lots to do tomorrow.

I am planning on making some wood shakes for the tops. They won't shed snow like steel, but they should keep the rabbits cooler than the hot steel in the summer.

Pics to come when we have something other than bare wire to take a picture of.

 

Homelite xp1000 with 27 inch hardnose bar 404 chain…i got it off facebook marketplace last year the saw had lots of issues wouldn’t start so i took it to jbsawman he got it running again…love that saw

Load of brush from a small removal I did yesterday. Yielded a heaping wheelbarrow. Norway maple

 

Little load of white oak this morning! I’m running out of places to stack it, I see a wood shed build in the near future.

 

Dang, that's quite a load...my '03 250 would be on the bump stops with a pile of oak like that!

 

It’s a one ton and it might have touched the bump stops a couple times on the way home

 

Busy Day yesterday. Moved a couple of cords of seasoned wood into wood shed next to our house. Then moved a load of poplar sheeting boards for a project next to the house. Total of about 6-6.5 cord in building. Only use about 4-4.5 cord per year unless its a colder than normal.

 

This is the last load of white oak until I get some more storage, out of room.

 

None of the good stuff today. Bales for the hay burners.

 

Do they burn the hay in firepits? Never have heard of that.

Never have heard the term and thought you meant it literally. Hay is one thing my truck has yet to haul.
