It's not a problem, if you admit it, right?

    I admit it, so not a problem...lol...
    I guess we're a wood magnet...
It's my drug and I'm addicted
We saw a yard with 2 oaks down from recent storm, asked the homeowner...she said a local tree service was cleaning it up...I called him, he brought up a big load of the good stuff... 20240830_192556.jpg
    I didn't think it was that big...lol... 20240830_192606.jpg
This is our recent oak acquisitions...
Tree service load, 3 loads we cut Wednesday (Git'ter done thread) the big pile of long logs came from campground expansion and trees we cut for powerline right of way... 20240830_192637.jpg
Hiding in the weeds is about 6 trailer loads of oak we have gotten this spring/summer 20240830_192703.jpg
And a church member called last night, they have a maple down from Thursday storm...guess it's coming to Goat Town also...
I might need to retire sooner than I thought...

It's nice you have the space to put those logs "for now "!

Your goat town goats have dropped the ball on their mowing duties...;)
Of course if you can't see it, easier to forget about it, then "accidentally" take in more!:thumbs::rofl:

The first step to recovery is admitting there is a problem.

    Hope you don't find a cure, T.Jeff Veal . :D

    Nice score!

I’m failing to see a problem with anything you have here.

That'll keep you busy for a few days.

And yes, your goats need to help you out on that field.

The "bad problem" is we're about to run out of space close to the woodyard to dump and time to process...
The "good problem"...the guy where we cut those 3 loads Wednesday, texted me today and wants us back there tomorrow to get more, and this will be some beautiful logs...

I’d be getting them up on runners somehow. They will keep forever if you get em off the ground.

We did a big job in '22, Our biggest logging job yet.
We had some big utility poles, made several racks to hold logs 0616220759_HDR.jpg
It helps save them, but down here, the ones in the middle of the pile still grew fungus and sap got punky. We may still move some back here again

Somehow missed this thread. Looks like a GTG may be in order. FHCers bring goats and weed whackers.

Id have the same "problem" Jeff if I had room to dump logs.

Keep up the great hoarding! :salute: :tree:
