    More as an update...
Stumpy and I finished stacking the shed.....probably 11 1/2 cord. We've been at it all summer....as time permits a trailer load at a time.

    June and July.
Stumpy has been the only one helping out.
It seems like we always pick the hot sweaty days.....

I think we moved 6 or 7 cord, each trailer load a bit over half a cord. The load pictured was closer to a cord.

With less people at the house this year, we'll be heating less space....I hope to see our cord use drop significantly.

Im also keeping lotsa bark. If that and shorties replace some cordwood ill be happy.

    Sca

That's a lot of grueling work during the summer heat, but it looks like you're good to go for the season now. The shed looks nice all painted, and your tire retaining wall seems to be doing a fine job holding all that weight

Time is getting shorter until the season's first burn.

He was going to join this site, but all the acrobatics to join was daunting. Even tried it on my laptop.
He'll just watch from the 'outside'.

He's hangin out here a lot. Im glad he can enjoy the woodstove...the fruit of all his labor.

First real fire last night. Shorts and whatever else for a couple hours to knock the chill out. Nice to be burning again!
