    Just got back from optics doc, other than some astigmatism in left eye and it being apx 2 off from the other everything else is ok- decent news for a change.

    We have them hanging around the creek at work, the closest is about 40-50', they gone after that! The boss wants to try one fried...they been eating the koi outta his pond in front of the admin bldg! :rofl: :lol:

    Similar here most the summer, but NOT warm. The few days that were warm gave an unwelcomed taste of humidity.

    Beautiful 65° ride into school on the motorcycle this morning. I know it won't last much longer , but this bike is so much more fun than the F250 and way cheaper on gas. Have a great day folks.

    Gonna be a hot one here today...around 100 with heat index around 110.

    I got all my outside stuff done this AM (raspberries and garden picked, 3 mile walk, and filled some cracks in the driveway/garage apron) and will probably hunker down inside until after dark this evening.

    My assistant is back from his holiday in Greece. He liked it, but not enough to do it again. He's going to Italy next time.

    One of the islands they visited had no fresh water supply of its own. It's brought to them by a ship o_O

    Yeah only 2 sand cranes known to be in state are farther south.. binoculars told me blue heron

    pics or it did not happen so took best I could on cell phone
