Hey. We don't have a smiley that involves snow yet! Hmmmm. We gonna have to fix that boys. Somebody come up with something. [IMG]

Ugh, Gas, did ya have to remind us? As much as I want to get to burning some wood, I dread the thought of a long cold and snowy winter like last year. Wait till you get old and you'll see what I mean.

I'm seeing what you mean already and I'm only 26! Each winter the cold seems to get less fun. I still like the four seasons though. But adding a second piece of property to take care of is also more of a challenge. Stay warm my friend, and take your time doing things in order to stay safe. What? You don't believe I'm 26? I'm hurt. :zip:

I believe you! Getting older is not a picnic, that's for sure. I have slowed down now that I'm getting real close to my 59th. I have the mind to do things, but the body is not cooperating. All part of the game I guess.

    Stay young, and stay warm.

LOL. I like to subtract 20 sometimes, just for the fun of it. LOL. Yes, my father and my past neighbor taught me a little about using your mind a little more and your muscles a little less to get things done and to keep from getting hurt as you get older. It is amazing what you can accomplish with your mind and hydraulics/equipment. Just have to use that imagination and determination a little more. My parents had an interesting image that someone had painted and they hung as a picture in our camp. Ill see if I can find it on the net. Oh ya. Here it is.

Ray, I wish Geritol would do the trick, but psoriatic arthritis and diabetes have laid a hurtin' on me. Not that I'm complaining, but I have to get done what needs to be done on the good days. I watched our grandson today, and if anything can wear you out it is grandkids. He's only 16 months, but you can't turn your back on him for a second. I got my workout for the week from him today. We have another grandson on the way in December. My wife picked up a hat that says " if we knew grandkids were this much fun we would have had them first." So true! :)

    Stay healthy and keep moving.

My bride knows all about that grandson energy/constant movement thing Al. She just got home from a 3 day stay at our daughter and SIL... taking care of a 10 month old and a 3 yr old. Boys. She's wiped out right now trying to get re-charged for the next blitz. She loves taking care of them but... whew... it's a lot isn't it? When they all come here it's perty wild... :rootintootin::rootintootin:... :D

Stinny, let you wife take all the time she needs. The batteries don't charge up as quick as they used to. How the heck did we manage raising our own kids? Seems like a long forgotten memory. It went by so fast it was a blur.

You guys knocking on 60, don't fret about it too much. Be thankful you are still mowing grass, not under it! I'm nearing 68 in a couple months. One of my grandparents was 88 before he let go. He was a man of the earth. Big man, who ate anything except prepared or processed food. That is the key to being well. Keep moving and don't eat poison.
Some of his brothers and sisters lived and stayed active much longer. He would had if it hadn't been for his obsession for chewing tobacco. My father and his father passed much younger from smoking.
