    Good evening, ya'll. Hope ya'll have had a SPECTACULAR SONDAY. Had a good day, went to Sunday School and church, then lunch with friends. Had a fast moving storm roll thru this evening. No damage here, kept power here. Daughter at the end of the road lost power for an hour or so.
    Saw one tree break off below us on neighbor property, no damage. 20240818_183414.jpg
    In town, had some damage...

    Deepstep, the little town next to us, power is out too. Trees took down power lines.

    The CT FHC'ers had some rough weather yesterday. I'm glad you avoided anything serious. I'm hoping the same for folks in CT.

    Soggy and foggy again. Muggy as well. 66⁰/79⁰ rain off/on through the day.

    I'll be getting some Chinese takeout for Dad's 96th birthday today.

    The rest of the day will be spent dodging raindrops.

    Finally, the rain has stopped. I did not go to the big old tractor show because of the rain. I imagine attendance was way down. The pictures I saw did not show the normal crowds plus lots of standing water and tons of mud. They had to close the track because of the mud so no tractor pulls or other things they normally do.

    Morning all. Yesterday was sunny and hazy. Closer we got to our campground, the warmer it got. It really looked like smoke in the air but no smell of it and no reported fires. This morning is overcast and windy. Ernesto is supposed to pass southeast of Newfoundland this morning and tonight.
    Didn't even unhook last night as the RV was level in both directions. On the move again this morning.

    Good afternoon, ya'll. Nice morning, but has warmed up to 87°, so far. 91° forecast for the high. Like Woodwidow used to do, working on my days off to cover coworker's vacation time. Make 20 hrs OT this week, maybe that can help.on tractor bill. The shop started on it Saturday morning.
    Hope to cut some skinnies and stacked in their shed after work. Pick up mower too, neighbor finished with our mower, need to pick it up, too.

    Had a glitch yesterday. Bearing problems on the RV. Frustrating as we had them repacked before we left. Roads in the Maritimes are rough. The truck needs another wheel alignment done.
