Yeah I did,got some on amazon and posted a pic a while back,it's definitely not one of my favorites but I wouldn't have known that if I didn't try it.
Never thought about doing that with canned chicken. Usually ends up as chicken salad. What did you mix in with the chicken?
12.5oz can,1 egg,1tbs mayo,some dried minced onion,and a bunch of shredded cheese.i pop the can open then hold the lid on while running under cold water...rinses out a bunch of the salt.
Giving the canned chicken patties a try today. The patties feel loose. The cooked tops and bottoms seem to want to separate from the less crusty inside. We'll see shortly.
Mrs MikeInMa says she likes it. I think I may have been light with "a bunch of shredded cheese". There will be an other time. Maybe try with ground chicken thighs the next time. I did sprinkle in a little poultry seasoning, Bells.
Mine were semi delicate but held together ok I also mashed the chicken with a fork real good before mixing wit the other stuff....they were crusty on the outside and loose on the inside like you say,but they were very good for a simple quick cook
