TrinitySouth99 I mean this with kindness; you have been showing us houses for over 4 years. Which is great as most have spectacular ocean views.

my question is this just dreaming? as in one day if I win the lottery thing. Or something you are going to put a plan together; work towards a goal and get DONE!

Neither are bad, the later one works as way of getting people to say “your so lucky” after 5 years of bustin your arse

I do hope she can go home. Much better than in hospitals.

According to the PA this morning, he plans on this afternoon or tomorrow morning for discharge. Starting her on a new medication this morning, wants them to watch her for a bit after that.

Mom is home. Yea! There is no doubt she will need 24 hour care for a while. Family members for next five days, and then a scheduled blend of family members and home health aides start next Monday. She will need plenty of rest, P.T., O.T. and doctor, family and friends care. Hopefully, each day will bring improvement in recovery.

I guess that's kind of where I am now. Put a ton of work into making a home, and all because of a stupid preventable incident with my uncle, I've had to be somewhat regretting it and hesitating with every further step for more than two years. People say it's beautiful here, and 3 years ago I'd agree. I guess my glasses have become cloudy so to speak. I'm looking at hopefully replacing my whole roof and creating living space upstairs, hopefully next year. Yet I have some days I get upset for completing a job here, because I feel like I should have moved when I had a chance to do so more easily (circumstances have changed which make it more difficult)

So long story short, I really don't know. I guess time tells all, when it's ready. I know if I did have the money to spare, I'd be very tempted to buy that place, even if it was just a cabin for now. It's a great deal, and in a pretty nice location. The scenery on its doorstep is nothing to complain about, but roughly 15 mins to the east lies some of the most spectacular scenery in the region (I'd be more tempted yet if the house was actually in that area), and not much further in the other direction lies the region's "hub" area with pretty much all your amenities. It'd make a great investment property if one had the means as well.

In other news, dad is trying to buy a Mazda3, and I finished a painting last night. The camera does take something from it, but I think it turned out pretty good.

Found out that a coworker that I would golf with during company golf outings passed away last night, right after work. He couldn't have been any older than 60. Apparently it was very sudden and unexpected. RIP Scott.

Sorry you lost your golfing buddy. Sudden and unexpected, IMO not a bad way to go.

Just checking out the further decline in automobiles. "Let's create a solution to a problem that doesn't exist!". Didn't even know this was out for a few years now.

I had 2008 (?) Suzuki, awd and real 4x4. I never did figure out how to get it into true 4x4 lol. Some sort of sequence with shifter and a button.

I have some good news and some bad news.

The bad news....one of dad's best friends went to a pond and didn't come back. They tracked his phone and found him....long story short, he went in there and somehow killed himself.....

The good news is, dad bought a car today. 2009 cobalt with less than 25K miles.
