Really? Logical? Makes me wonder why it's best to "let it go away"? I, for one, enjoyed thewoodlands contributions to this site.
He said inappropriate hogwash not fit for this board, especially the volunteer moderators so they were removed. And once again left by himself. Those posts were the opposite of any contribution to our site.
Didn't mean to stir the proverbial hornet's nest when I mentioned him. I had no idea about any controversy or issues, I just used to enjoy bantering back and forth with him on his annual 'work done in 20?? posts.
"She" had a lot of people on this site fooled (still does apparently) and had a passive aggressive way of always asking for handouts after her success of being gifted a wood stove by members.
Some of us help each other out despite and even because of their intellectual disabilities, Dave. It's this nation's foundation.
Actually Bill, the nations foundation was officially laid 110 years earlier with the declaration of independence and again in 1788 with the adoption of the constitution. The statue of liberty was dedicated in 1886. The poem that Lazaras penned was in 1883 as an art source to raise money for the pedestal of the statue of liberty. The poem itself was never attached to the statue's pedestal until 1903. I agree with helping others and donate monthly (not a religious donation if thats what you're thinking). But some people take advantage of the generosity of others. Proven time and time again.
