Good Morning, Brothers & Sisters Thread

Update- I just got back from my walk. They must have worked into the night to do a temporary fix on the road because it has reopened.
On a different note....the radar showed no rain before I started and still doesn't, but it was raining the last 5 minutes of my walk and still is.

 

Morning all. Sun was starting to show when I took the dog out early but it is kind of overcast now. I need to get the floor mats outside in the sunshine today and get them dry. Probably more sightseeing today and then grocery shop for the weekend.

I decided my morning walk was to be behind the lawnmower. Always feels good to have that done!

Hi everyone! Thought I'd drop in and dust off my account. Going to be sticky hot this weekend so I'll get outside early or not at all.

Hope all are doing well. I need to look back on this thread to update myself.

Actually looking for a bit of advice.

I've got my 40th school reunion coming up and I need to lose about 10 pounds or so. Any ideas on the best way of doing that?

Oh by the way, the reunion starts tonight.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SUPER SATURDAY. 71°\97°, clear. Another night down, working Xtra this week, nice OT. My brother and SIL from north GA came down Thursday evening, spent some time with them yesterday morning, then sorted a few logs from the campground load. Hope to finish sorting them this morning, and adding some other cherry to the pile.

Good morning everyone! I just got back from my walk and will be taking a nap later. Otherwise no definite plan for today.

Rainy day today. 72⁰/85⁰ continued muggy.

No plans for the day. Lots to do outside, but not in the rain.

Heard rain off and on all night but today is supposed to be sunny again. It was sunny and hot yesterday as we toured Ottawa in the top of a double decker bus. So glad I wasn't driving. Lots of green space in this city. As it is our nation's capital, lots of embassy buildings here as well as federal offices. You could spend quite a bit of time at each national museum as well. Space and Aviation would be quite interesting.

The woman had 10 silver coins. They were very precious to her. One day as she counted the coins, one was missing! She lit the lamp and started searching for it. Every nook and cranny was searched. Everything was lifted, swept under and put back. Yeah, she found it! Rejoicing, she asked her friends to rejoice with her.

We can be lost coins, sitting somewhere and not knowing we are lost. Jesus comes looking for us, sending the Holy Spirit to awaken us to our need of a Saviour. Take time today to listen to the Holy Spirit and turn your life over to Christ. He is looking for you to save you.
