Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. 76°\93°, partly cloudy. 1st night down, more to go. Hope to cut a smaller yard this morning, then a nap.
We don't cut the big yard anymore, they decided to let the guy that does the shrubs cut it...mixed blessing on this...good paying job, but it did wear us down, especially Miz Carol. Glad we didn't spend $200 for new bags on the mower...
Maybe we will have time for other things now...

Good morning everyone! Very muggy already and lots of rain coming.

 

Morning all. Muggy this morning. Rain is expected. I guess we will get the tail end of Beryl as she moves north. We have had really good weather so far, just a little bit hotter than we are used to.
Went for a boat cruise on the St. Lawrence yesterday. Hard to believe it is a river as it is so wide here at Kingston. Where we live, if you are out on the water, the wind is cold no matter how hot the day. Yesterday, the wind was warm so we didn't need our extra shirts we brought along.
On the move today. I hope we get packed up before the rain starts.

Captain sawzall brought my 372 back

he got to the last 3ft section and jumped the chain so he took it apart put the chain on backwards and somehow lost the inner felling spike as well as putting the outer spike upside down
He said it wouldn't cut anymore
So he bought me a new bar and chain.

 

Guess some folks shouldn't work on saws...
Glad you got a new B&C out of the deal.

Woke up to rain again this morning. We are near the nation's capital, Ottawa. Getting here from Kingston was quite the adventure. Started off in the wrong direction as we were trying to use a secondary road and not the freeway. Finally got on the right road and really enjoyed. A couple hours in we were glad we weren't on the freeways. Thunderstorm, lightening and torrential rain. Going slow was mandatory. Remains of Beryl.
Looking forward to exploring once the rain lets up. Next couple of days are supposed to be nice.
Can't get over how warm it is even though it is raining. Nothing wants to dry in the RV and I don't want to put the furnace on when the AC should be running. Ahhh! life in the east.

The main road that our road feeds into is still closed. A large culvert collapsed. Fortunately we have alternate routes to get out.

After going for a walk, I'll pick some blueberries this morning. Not nearly as many as last year.

A cousin of Mrs MikeInMa will be visiting today. I guess I'll need to be on my best behavior.
